Cargo Imports and Exports
A Shipper or a Buyer could obtain a cargo Import/Export policy to protect against loss or damage that could be caused to his cargo consignment during a voyage. This is usually covered under a Marine Insurance policy, whether for domestic or international journeys, by sea, air, or land. There are three internationally recognized types of cover, known as ‘Institute Cargo Clauses A, B and C’ and could be extended to cover from warehouse to warehouse. Regular Shippers could obtain an open cover to have an advance form of cover for their imports and exports.
